Our day typically starts between 8 and 8.30. When we arrive we will go through the planned work of the day and clarify any questions a customer may have. After this, we will load out tools, materials and any dust coverings etc that we may need.
Generally we will pause works for a lunch break in the middle of the day, with a short break in the morning depending on what we need to complete. We are flexible on timings and endeavour to cause as little disruption as possible to our clients.
Our working day will usually end between 4.30 and 5.
We will start to taper off works nearer to this time to ensure we have enough time to properly tidy up after ourselves.
If a return visit is booked for the following day, we might ask to leave tools or materials on site to make the next visit more efficient.
We hope to start works as soon as possible after morning set up, so we ask that any items that may need charging etc, be charged before our visit.
We may need to collect materials whilst on site, but any time we may need to do this, the customer will be notified or someone will remain on site.
With the shift towards home working, our working dynamic has had to change. Unfortunately 95% of the time, electrical work and home working do not compliment each other. The need to complete our work in a safe manner, i.e with power off, generally affects home working. As such, we ask that for the duration of our visit, the customer make other arrangements.
Once works are complete, the customer will be given time to inspect and ensure their satisfaction with the works carried out. Any equipment will be explained as well as any other information that is relevant. If you are not happy, we are not happy!
